Chomecast Functionality
Hello. Sorry if this topic has already been covered. Although I've read in other internet locations that this is a "known issue" I haven't seen anything specific listed here on this forum.
My issue lies with trying to cast (on my home network) from CloudPlayer to any/all of my Chromecast devices. The app is able to see all of the devices on my network and it's able to successfully connect. However, when attempting to play the track/album/playlist, the player does nothing. The player does make some visual motions onscreen, as if it's shuffling the tracks, but ultimately... nothing happens. If I disconnect from the Chromecast device, the track will play just fine via the phone. (Samsung Galaxy S10)
Additionally, if I choose a track/album/playlist that is stored on my phone (and not the cloud) CloudPlayer will connect via Chromecast and play just fine. It seems to be only those files that are stored in the cloud (I use Google Drive) that don't work... which, unfortunately, is the majority of my collection. I only store a handful of music tracks on my actual device but again, those stored directly on the device will cast just fine.
I love the functionality of the app outside of the Chromecast functionality. A very worthy replacement for this long time Google Play user who's refusing to switch over to that nonsense known as YouTube Music. Hoping this is an issue that's either being worked on or that maybe, someone has some feedback on things to try. Thx in advance for any thoughts, ideas or suggestions.

Hello. We are working to restore support for Chromecast as Google's API change caused it to stop working. In the meantime, you can still cast from local files and Dropbox/OneDrive. You can also cache/download any Google Drive files and cast once they are available for offline playback.
Our apologies for the inconvenience.

Thank you! Appreciate the official clarification... now I know. (Again, love the product! Can't wait for full functionality with Google.)
