Hello doubleTwist,

I really like the Cloudplayer, so well done on a good app. Ive just upgraded my phone to a Ulefone Armor 6s, with android 9. Now the cloudplayer will only play with the display on.

If i turn the display off, the music stops after about a minute. I suspected battery optimisation, so i have disabled that. But there is still something turning it off. Do i need one of those "keep awake" apps?

I didnt have this problem with my old phone. Thankyou.

  I'm sorry that you're experiencing issues with playback. We aren't familiar with that particular device but a quick Google search came up with this Android Central thread.

  Do you have any 3rd party EQ apps installed?

  Wow, thanks for the link. Your google skills are impressive.

  I dont have any equaliser apps.

  I have proven that it is the phone/os though, because i had another radio app which did the same thing whilst playing through the built in speaker.

  I will pursue this on the android forums. Thanks.
