Google Login — Why?
When I first launch CloudPlayer Premium I am prompted to optionally "Login with your Google account to activate cloud features"
Even if I don't do this I am still able to add my Google Drive as Cloud Storage just fine. The only difference seems to be that the top of the hamburger menu says "Sign In" instead of my Google account.
So what is the purpose and implications of signing in to the app itself, and what exactly are these cloud features that are mentioned?

Hello,
Logging in with your account activates the playlist backup feature. The login is also needed for TwistPass users so metadata edits and database backups can be made to our cloud servers.

Thanks, so to clarify then, playlist backup does not require TwistPass? It's unclear since the Twist Pass upgrade screen lists this as a feature.

Hello,
At this time, playlist backups are being offered to all users as a temporary promotion so users can test out that specific feature of TwistPass.
