Samsung S9 USB Connection Issue
Hi there, I have a Samsung S9 and I cannot get Doubletwist to recognise it in MTP mode (I am using a Mac OSX) If I change to MIDI or photo transfer it shows up but asks me to 'mount' the phone. There is not an option to mount on the S9. I have gone into developer options and checked USB debugging to try and that didn't do anything either. I cannot seem to find a way to make it work. I have tried with Andriod transfer installed and without, I have reinstalled the app on both my phone and laptop and still nothing works. Do you have any advice?
Cheers
Tom

Hello,
Thanks for your interest in doubleTwist.
Recent Android devices only have USB MTP mode, which the Mac does not recognize without additional software. In addition, doubleTwist was not designed for USB MTP as it expects USB Mass Storage (MSC) mode.
We are working on additional syncing solutions for the Mac but this will take some time.
In the meantime, you can use AirSync to sync with recent Android devices.
Here is a quick start guide to AirSync on the Mac:
