Playlist being held as hostage?

Why are you forcing users to sign in to their google account so they could use the playlist feature? it's a good marketing strategy to mine as much data and force users to continue using the app if they want to have access to their playlist.

  Hello. We don't datamine our user's data. We are using the account information to backup the playlists. If you don't need the playlist backup option, you don't need to login.
