Google shared drive

From the other posts I searched, it seems like CloudPlayer should be syncing all folders on the linked Google Drive account, including Shared Drives that are "shared with me". For example: https://support.doubletwist.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360054687272/comments/360008115431 However in my case, it's only recognizing the main, non-shared drive and completely ignoring anything shared. I have linked, synced, scanned, rescanned, unlinked, etc a few times with the same results. I bought CP Platinum, so it shouldn't be a paywall problem. Am I missing something? Some relevant facts: -The shared-from GDrive is managed by an organization (university), but it is an individual/alum account. I saw a couple of posts about Google Teams not being fully supported yet, so I'm wondering if this is somehow part of the issue. -The shared-to account is just a regular, civilian account. Not tied to a Team or organization of any kind. -Both shared-from and shared-to accounts belong to me, have full Manager permissions for the shared folders in question, and they both are able to sync their own, non-shared files to CloudPlayer with no apparent problems. -My alum account has unlimited storage, but it's tied to an .edu email address, so I don't use it for anything else (such as registering apps or creating an account on a website). I wanted to make my music library accessible through my civilian account, which I use for everything, via drive sharing. If that's not possible then I can still link CP directly with my alum account--but I'd have to keep both Google accounts logged in on my phone, which creates a whole other set of headaches when using other Google-associated apps. So I'd like to avoid that if possible. Can you shed some light on how to make this work?

  Hello,

  To clarify, the shared Folder belongs to a Team Drive account? That would explain the problem as Team Drive is not yet fully supported. Shared folders do work when they are shared by regular Google Drive accounts. We are still looking into adding full support for Team Drives in a future update. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

  Thanks for the reply. To clarify about the shared drive, I don't know whether my alum account is formally branded as a Team Drive or if Google has other organizational products that don't carry that name & set of rules. I have had the account for years, but I never heard of Google Teams until this week when reading the CloudPlayer support site. What I do know for sure is that mine's through "G Suite for Education". While technically part of an organization, it isn't a "Team"-style collaborative workspace and in most ways it operates exactly like an individual account, at least on the user side. Do the same back-end limitations of CloudPlayer compatibility with Teams (which to me implies commercial use) apply to GSE as well?

  Google's branding is very confusing. Team Drive is a feature of G-Suite. Though I think they might have recently renamed "Team Drive" to "Shared Drive".

  Ha, yes it is. And that sounds about right. Well, I shall look forward to future updates that might include Teams (by whatever name) support. Thanks again!
