    Hello,

    I'm sorry that you're experiencing issues with Google Drive.

    A few users have also reported similar issues as it appears Google locked down the Google Drive API to prevent access by 3rd party apps. The QA/Dev team is currently investigating possible workarounds so I will attach your case to the ticket opened for this problem.

    OneDrive and Dropbox are not affected by the Google change so you can still use those services for cloud playback.

    Our apologies for the inconvenience.

    May I please be notified when you make progress here? I am having the same struggle. Thanks.

    Hello everyone,

    We are currently testing a workaround and hope to push an update later this week to fix this problem. Please watch for an update notification from the Play Store if you do not auto-update your apps.

    Hi, have been having the very same issue (UK customer for a few years now) ! It's been taking an age to either update library from Google drive (about 5/10) mins per song (I've 100s). Streaming also takes forever to load or gives up and moves on to the next tune in library, or the next, or next.. (may or may not load a tune to play eventually!)
    Appreciate DropBox/ Onedrive are not affected but as I've a Google drive subscription (for only CoudPlayer) I'd very much like to have this issue resolved.
    Thank you.

    If I switch to One Drive from Google Drive because of this API restriction, will I need to recreate the playlists I made with CloudPlayer connected to Google Drive?

    I'm experiencing the same thing in CloudPlayer (CP).  At first I was not getting any new files added, files would not play, So I erased the database. Then CP would only find a few files and rarely would one play. I couldn't save them offline either. The downloads in CP would timeout. It was acting like the API went over it's quota or something.

    @Lopainkevin

    Are you not seeing the 1.8.0 (17146b9) update available in the Play Store?
