    doubleTwist Support

    Hello Mario,

What type of music files are you trying to cast? Is this format supported by Chromecast? Does the problem persists if you reboot all of your devices, including the wireless router?

If it does, please send us a log file for further analysis.

    1. Reproduce the problem.
    2. Then immediately go into doubleTwist Settings.
    3. Scroll down to select "Send Log Files" and tap "OK".
    4. Enter "doubleTwist 21998" in the description text and tap "Send Logs" to email the logs to us.

(You can ignore the automated request for more information that our server generates when the log files are received.)

I am experiencing this same problem, but with the CloudPlayer Platinum app. When I disconnect from my Chromecast, the files play fine on the phone. When I played through Chromecast a few months ago, it seemed to work. But right now, any album I choose is just skipping right through. The artwork and metadata shows up on the Chromecast TV, but then skips to the next song.

I did just reboot everything trying to troubleshoot myself, so I'll send the log to the doubleTwist ID you noted above. (I looked on this forum for reports specific to CloudPlayer, but this one is closest to what I'm experiencing.) Thanks!

Problem is gone.  Don't know what was the source, but thanks for the reply

    Hello,

Are you casting from a Google Drive account? Or are you casting from local files or Dropbox/OneDrive?

As mentioned in the release notes for 1.8.0, we are working to restore support for Chromecast as Google's API change caused it to stop working. In the meantime, you can still cast from local files and Dropbox/OneDrive. You can also cache/download any Google Drive files and cast once they are available for offline playback.

Hi, yes casting from google account. Onedrive seems to work fine. Might move my stuff over. Do you know when the fix will be out?
