Majority of files not showing up in the folders
Is there any particular reason that the app only finds approximately 30-35% of the music files in the folders? E.g. one folder has 86 files, but DoubleTwist only shows 26. Other music apps have no problem with this of course since the files are there. It's quite a problem as it makes the app rather useless when it can't actually recognize the music files in storage.

Hello,
Do you have a lot of duplicate songs? Our apps has a duplication filter so it will skip a file if it detects that it's a duplicate. This detection is based on metadata so it's best to have complete metadata in a music library.
You can also use the "Scan Local Folder" option in Settings to manually scan for files if the Android Media Scan import isn't complete.

No duplicate songs whatsoever. Metadata is also complete. I have just dumped them from iTunes playlists and into folders, so nothing fancy. That's why it doesn't make much sense that DT finds so few of the actual songs, when other apps has no problem with it.
I have tried manually scanning the folders as well which didn't help. After tapping "Select" it just closes down that window. There's nothing indicating that it is scanning at all. Should there be a progress bar popping up or something like that?

Hello,
A notification should appear when the media scanner is active.
If after a manual scan, the songs are still not index, please send us a log package from your device.
1. Verify that "Scan Local Folder" isn't adding non-duplicates to the library database.
2. Then immediately go into doubleTwist Settings.
3. Scroll down to select "Send Log Files" and tap "OK".
4. Enter "DT Issue 20190503a" in the description text and tap "Send Logs" to email the logs to us.(You can ignore the automated request for more information that our server generates when the log files are received.)

Hello,
Thanks of the log files. The log entries don't contain any errors but does contain a number of skipped entries due to duplicate detection.
For example:

Yeah, that's just some tracks being in more than one folder. I don't see how that should block the app from finding songs in any of the folders. I guess there's not much to be done about it then?

Hello,
We haven't had any reports of problems with the Media Scanner from other users.
If the Media Scanner skips a song (either due to duplicate detection or if there was a problem extracting metadata), there will be an entry in the log file so you can check the log file after using the "Scan Local Folder" option.
