Can more control options be implemented in the Android Auto Podcast section?  The skip button doesn't do anything.  I'd also like the ability to use a voice command while within a subscription to play a random episode.  It's difficult to navigate through podcasts because of Android Auto's browsing limitations.  In the app itself, it'd be nice to be able to mark individual episodes played or not so they can be hidden.

  To be honest, Android Auto is so crippled by Google, in the name of "driver safety", that there's very little room for customization or innovations. We're waiting on Google to open it up so we can implement more powerful features for listening to music and podcasts on the road.

  As far as podcasts in the app go, we plan to revamp podcast playback hopefully later this year, and the ability to manually change listened state is high on our list. Stay tuned!

  I was just going to ask about being able to change the listened state for individual podcast episodes - nice to know it's coming!

  It would also be nice to have the ability to specify that a podcast shouldn't be marked as listened until the last, say, five minutes of the podcast. If you have a podcast and specify the filter to only show "unlistened episodes," I'd love to be able to see the one that I'm still in the middle of listening to.

  Hello everybody,

  I would appreciate more controls (for single episode) in Podcast. Features like:

  - Mark as played

  - Mark as not played

  - Hide episode

  - Date last played

  - Sort by date last played

  - Search

   

  I use to listen to TED Podcast: I have more than 400 episodes and, since played episodes are not hidden (even if played) it's difficult to scroll in a such long list.

  I am not sure if I submitted this request before as I cannot find it when searching the doubletwist community.  I would like to have the option to "auto delete" podcasts after playback.

  Also, is it possible to set up separate play queues for music and podcasts?
