Syncing Playlists between iTunes and doubleTwist

I am trying to Sync my playlists in iTunes to my Droid via doubleTwist (DT). Under the Library tab in DT, my I can see my iTunes library and playlists. However, under Playlists tab in DT I can only create my own new playlists, I can't add lists from my iTunes library (unless I drag and drop the songs into new playlists). Is there a way to add all the playlists from my iTunes library AND get doubleTwist to sync the playlists with iTunes? The problem is I only seem to have the option to sync playlists under the Playlist tab in DT with my Droid. Thanks!

After searching through the forums I found my problem. My playlists are smart playlists in iTunes, and therefore don't sync in DT. Only the playlists that I manually add music to in iTunes will sync in DT.

I’m i cant get itunes songs in double twist i have a lot of songs and this sucks

It's only the manual playlists that I wanna sync. Make them on the Mac in iTunes and sync to the phone. Is this possible?

  Yes, you can import playlists created in iTunes into doubleTwist OSX by going to the File menu and then select "Library > Import iTunes Playlists".

  i have a similar problem and this worked,however, the iTunes playlists still don't show up on my android phone, only in double twist on the mac.

The "Import iTunes Playlists" selection is grayed out for me and setting "Automatically import iTunes Playlists" in Preferences does not seem to work. I have updated a previously imported iTunes playlist and the new version is not appearing in DoubleTwist.

  The "Import iTunes Playlists" selection is grayed out when you have a playlist selected. If I select "Music" instead, it became available but did not work. I have DoubleTwist 3.0.1 on Mac OS 10.5.8 (it's a PowerPC Mac) and iTunes 10.4.1. I got it to work by deleting the "problem" playlist in DoubleTwist, then telling DoubleTwist to "Import iTunes Playlists" and it reappeared with the new contents.

I have manually created iTunes playlist that shows up in the DoubleTwist Playlists on the left of the app, but isn't available to select to sync with my Android. I deleted the playlist in doubletwist, closed doubletwist, reopened, it showed up back on the left but is still unavailable to sync. I've also selected the Import iTunes Playlists option, with no luck. Any idea?
