Each time, you guys say that you're working on this, but it's never become a reality.
I had stopped using Doubletwist after trying it out several months ago. I couldn't remember what was so bad about it, so I decided to try it again.
Now I remember.
I'm asking you, as a paying customer (AirSync), give me the ability to only sync checked songs from iTunes.
I do not want unchecked songs, and am not willing to go through any other trouble to work around this. The inconvenience is within the program and I will not shift to allow for your sloppy work to be acceptable.

Eduardo,
First off, I appreciate your position and the due diligence you did on researching the issue.
Over the course of the past 9 months we've gone through numerous changes, but in the new year we plan on building an entirely new desktop app that is more lightweight and sync-oriented, rather than being a sync utility plus playback.
I'm currently working on the specifications for the app and I've referenced better integration points with iTunes, such as that which you have suggested above.
Thanks for your input.

Lucas,
Thank you for that incredibly fast response.
Good to know you guys are doing that. I hope to be able to come back to Doubletwist in the near future and take advantage of the features you will have hopefully implemented.
Until then, this issue is rendering it unusable for myself.

Hmm. Well, I'm glad but I am also put off a bit by the history of delays. I'm new to DoubleTwist and just paid for AirSync (w/ the Album Art Thingy) and this is one of the first things I looked for in the desktop client.
Only to find nothing! Ack. =(
It's good this is a WIP but it'd be really nice if this could be integrated soon or if the new client had an ETA. It's really inconvenient for me not being able to just uncheck songs, especially when it's something an app like iSyncr (which I consider to be unpolished, if useful) can do it. -

I have now stopped trusting this DoubleTwist. I had seen this issue 1 yr back and they have done nothing. I have now started to use Tunesync.com which is the best to sync. It has this checked songs feature and playlist and everything..

iSyncr is fantastic in function. It will sync checked songs (if that's what you prefer) in iTunes and album artwork. The makers of iSyncr are also responsive and listen to what people want.
