Getting Double Twist to sync iTunes with a Samsung Galaxy 3s
Double twist will not sync with my Samsung Galaxy 3s, I believe because there is no usb mass storage mode option on the phone. Does Double Twist have a work-around for this? I want to move my iTunes songs and playlists onto my phone. How can I do it?

Hello,
The Galaxy S3 only has USB MTP mode, which doubleTwist was not designed for as it expects USB Mass Storage (MSC) mode.
We are currently working on adding support for USB MTP support to doubleTwist. We hope to have a beta version of doubleTwist for Windows with MTP support for certain devices available within the next couple of months.
In the meantime, you can use AirSync to sync with USB MTP only devices such as the Galaxy S3 and Android tablets.
Here are some quickstart guides to AirSync.

Any more info for MTP support? You guys are WAY behind the ball, as EVERY devioce ICS(4.0.x) and up has used MTP as USB mass storage has been deprecated and no longer an option starting with ICS. Come on guys, you are forcing ICS and up users, which is means anyone woith a decent newer device in the past yewar basically (most newer devices in the past year have shipped with at least ICS or were upgraded to ICS SOON after). So please huury it up, its not that hard. Yes its a MS propietary designed protocol, but your syncing app is primarily supported on PC (windows) which has perfect support for MTP. So the 3 month wait is rediculousl. I am a paying customer of AirSync because of this, but you cant deny usb sync is far faster than AirSync.

Hello,
I'm sorry for the delay in implementing USB MTP support for doubleTwist for Windows.
It turns out MTP support implementation across the range of Android devices has turned out to be more challenging than we thought. some devices (a number of popular ones) have done their own custom implementation and it's thrown us for a loop. The Dev team is investigating workarounds for these issues and we now hope to have a beta version of doubleTwist for Windows with MTP support available within the next couple of months.
Thanks,
