doubleTwist playlist and syncing malfunctions
doubleTwist syncs some duplicates of songs and doesn't sync to doubleTwist app and instead syncs to normal music directory. Also it only syncs the first iTunes playlist I have; the other four show up but have no music in them.

I would be really interested in an update. Completely agree with findail's comments above

Dont hold your breath for a fix on this. This item has been around for quite some time now... have a look at a quick search on the forum. There have been alternatives posted, but not sure if that really addresses your core issue.

What operating system are you using? Windows 7? Vista?
What is happening with your iTunes import? Does it stop at a certain playlist? Does it import empty playlists?
Thanks,
Henry
Windows Vista. Samsung Galaxy S
Here's the issues I have.
when syncing for each playlist a song appears in in itunes, the song is added that many times including once for Music. So every song is duplicated at least once.
genres are changed from my settings to some that I've never even heard of before in 44 years of listening to music
I spent months obtaining and in many cases creating every single album artwork for 16,230 songs of 156 GB of music. Also ensuring all data was correct... Song Name, Artist, Album Artist, Album, Album Year, Composer, Track # of Track, Disc # of Disc. The total data imported is I estimate 40% correct
For Album artwork 95% were downloaded directly by iTunes. Only about 50% of the music that sync'd has the artwork, but DT offers to sell me artwork I already have and some artwork is now completely wrong
Artist names have changed, again some are completely wrong some are spelling errors. Not quite sure how AC/DC becomes Nora Jones, or Reba McEntire becomes Hank Williams Jr.... and yet others are listed like Ferlin Husky/Ferlin Husky or Gale Garnett/Gale Garnett or Johnny Cash/Johnny Cash. In all other programs I have that is not the case. With DT I have 7 different Johnny Cash's
and on another note, DT starts playing a random song at open. Like it just did now. The button indicates it's not playing but the music is coming out of the speaker. Hit the play and it becomes play, then it becomes the pause button hit it again and it stops.
Please consider the request for help, if not I will be forced to begin contacting my service provider and the Android Market - https://www.google.com/support/androi... - to provide feedback as to these issues.
I'm sorry that this report was not followed up on.
We have been receiving more reports of iTunes importing issues related to malformed XML files so perhaps this might be related.
How large is your iTunes Music Library.xml file? Can it be zipped and emailed to us for analysis?
Please email the zipped XML file to:
support at doubletwist.com
If you used iTunes to download artwork, this artwork is stored in an iTunes database and not embedded into the music files themselves. That's why doubleTwist is not able to display the artwork as we try to import the artwork from ID3 tags and can not read it from the proprietary iTunes database.
Thanks,
Henry
