Double twist does not recognize device!!
How do I get my device to show up on the menu? The computer recognizes it but the doubletwist program doesn't...and I am not using the Airsync...just the USB port application.

Are you using a Mac or Windows desktop machine? And what is the device that you are connecting to your PC?

Ann Marie Power April 10, 2011 10:59I am using an Acer laptop with windows 7 and trying to connect an INQ cell phone. When I connect the phone with the USB cable, the computer recognizes the device but Doubletwist does not. When I try to use the help feature and frequently asked questions this too does not work properly, by not allowing the program to connect to the internet. I did remove the program and download again but this did not change anything.Thanks :)EditDeleteRemove

Please hold the shift key down when you launch doubleTwist, attach your device, wait a minute, and then go under the Debug menu to send your log information. Refer to this issue in the Additional Information section so I have context. Thanks!

Thanks for that info. It didn't totally solve the issue but it at least got the program to recognize the device. The only issue I know have is that it won't let me select particular music to sync....it is syncing everything that is in itunes....5000+ songs. Any more suggestions?? I really do appreciate the earlier help :-)
