AirSync for podcasts on Mac Not working

I purchased AirSync expecting I could subscribe to podcasts because the android app says "use doubleTwist on your _Mac_ or PC to search or subscribe..." FALSE ADVERTISING. The Mac however; says "Podcast subscriptions are coming soon for the Mac". That would have been OK, but it's been since early December. That's three months ago! come on! I spent $$ on this and it's useless. I'd like this to work, otherwise get my $ back!

Hi,
we will be adding support for subscribing to podcasts to a future Mac release. Unfortunately we had some critical bug fixes that needed to be worked on before we could add that feature. It's partially done and will be released soon, but I can't give you a release date yet.

  Yea, 3 months ago and you've added a ton of new features that are completely useless but no podcasts. I've uninstalled, going with Google Music. Thanks for nothing.

Hi, i use doubletwist on Mac, went to POdcast window, where u can usually subscrivbe to podcasta, but instead of "Subscribe", i m getting this message:

Podcast subscriptions are coming soon for the Mac!
In the mean time, you can search and play podcast episodes.

Actually, i dont want to find new podcasts using doubletwist, coz i already have them all in iTunes, so why doubletwist simply can not take the podcasts from iTunes and sync them to my android device?

For those on this string interested in Podcast subscriptions support, we're considering where exactly we'd like to put this in our release schedule, given a heavy release schedule and number of optimizations we'd like to implement on fundamental things like sync and library import.

This surprises me. I can't believe that something as basic as subscription support (a must!) is being prioritized lower than the gee-whiz features like wi-fi sync. Wireless sync is nice, but without subscription support, I don't have much need for DoubleTwist at all. I use a streaming service for music - podcasts are one of the only reasons I'm still tied to the desktop. And there's an app for that.

  I wasn't actually referring to WiFi sync, just the simple ol' USB sync. That's a fundamental feature for doubleTwist and we'd like to make sure it's optimized for all of our customers.

Moreover, if you can't deliver the feature, take out the advertisement from the android app!!! Your company is _LYING_ with the message ""use doubleTwist on your _Mac_ or PC to search or subscribe...""

setting wrong expectations by saying "coming soon" is just bad customer relations. saying you have a feature (use of which which requires AirSync) that you charge $$ for, I'm pretty sure is illegal.

  it's not on market. it's in the app. open the android application. click Podcasts. the only text on the screen has these words that detail "Mac" is supported to sync podcasts. in turn, the only way to sync, you require purchasing AirSync.

  The description clearly states "sync and play your iTunes playlists, podcasts..." That is not possible to do at this point. Please get this fixed, as I also paid good money for your product only to have it not do what I want it to do--SYNC and play podcasts.

  You are correct that it notes it there. I think this was a mistake and reference to Mac will be removed in the Android client in the next update and we will only add it back in when we have support for podcast search/subscription in our app.

  You can, in fact, sync and play iTunes playlists & podcasts. You set doubleTwist to automatically import all of your iTunes library and we'll import podcasts from iTunes into your doubleTwist library, and then in turn you can sync from your desktop to your Android device.

Hi, I am also in the same boat having read all these great reviews of double twist and really just want it to listen to my podcast subscriptions (which I can get in itunes). I've tried other devices, such as google listen, but they're absolutely hopeless. Can you tell me why there's no way to just sync the podcast subscriptions from itunes to doubletwist? Or even just search for the current episode and download (this is also unavailable)?

I had high hopes for this app and am now thoroughly disappointed that I was convinced to buy an android over iphone.

Alexis: b4 u throw your android to grinder and set off for the closest apple store, check isyncr. It synchronizes your iTunes on both mac or pc, and it does so wirelessly. Moreover, it syncs pics and videos from your android to your computer so u don't even need to plug your phone to your computer. Awesome. L.
